Another Article

Hi Bloggers welcome back to my blog! Today I'll be talking to you guys about my writing task this week. First here is my Goal: Write in structured, well developed paragraphs that flow well from one to the next within the text. For the last few weeks we had to write a Goldie Locks crime article about what she had done and a whole lot of other confusing things, this week we had to put the article in paragraphs and have subheadings for each. Here is my Work:

The highlighted parts are the things I had to add in.

Have you ever been robbed?

Amazing Articles?

Hi bloggers welcome back to my blog! Today I will be talking to you guys about my Reading task this week. First here is my Goal: Select from a wide range of genre when reading independently. For reading we went on kiwi kids news and looked at some articles and had to pick three articles with different genres and we had "review" them and add our thoughts on the article. Also we had to find some shapes, here are the shapes we had to find:

Or if we could change the article title. All of the articles of course had a title but out of the three only one had two shapes that included the 5 W's and the Headline. Here is my work:

Have you ever read these articles?
If you could what title would you change?

My work!

Hi bloggers welcome back to my blog! Today I'll be talking about some of my work I've done this week. For my maths task we had to make up a game for Top Team and it had to include a maths twist in it. Ariella, Caoimhe & Myself made up an awesome game called the last meerkat standing, it's quite a unique name so that's why we chose it! Here is our work (link included):

My Reading task this week was making a Reading web about a novel or something like a chapter book that is nonfiction. I chose to do the Twits. Here is my work:

Do you know what a Reading Web is?

My Wise Work

Hi bloggers welcome back to my blog! Today I will be talking to you about two of my work pieces I have done this week.  For my writing task I had to make a poem about my turangawaewae mine was Cape Town South Africa, but it was a show not tell type of poem which means I have to describe what it looks like and what I felt like in a descriptive way. There also was a word limit, the minimal was 70 words and the most you could do was 100 words, my poem was 100 words long. Here is my Poem:

For my reading task we read a book called Rising Seas and we took down questions, what I already know and what I have learnt while we were reading. We had to put it on a doc and make it look awesome! I answered some of the questions with google and some websites. Here is my work:

My Wonderful Work

Hi Bloggers welcome back to my blog, today I'll be talking about some of my tasks this week. This week for writing we had to write a poem about Ngai Tahu and something about Christchurch. Here is my writing task:

For reading this week we did another Venn diagram about two or more landmarks in Christchurch and around the world, a Venn Diagram is when you have two texts and two shapes, inside each shape you talk about something that is different between the texts and in the middle is the similarities. Here is my task:

For our maths task this week we learnt about rotation, translation, reflection and enlargement with two types of Maori patterns. Here is my task:

Have you ever done this amount of work before?

The second week we had to write it. I decided to do mine about Kapa Haka, here's my work:
