My Wonderful Work

Hi Bloggers welcome back to my blog, today I'll be talking about some of my tasks this week. This week for writing we had to write a poem about Ngai Tahu and something about Christchurch. Here is my writing task:

For reading this week we did another Venn diagram about two or more landmarks in Christchurch and around the world, a Venn Diagram is when you have two texts and two shapes, inside each shape you talk about something that is different between the texts and in the middle is the similarities. Here is my task:

For our maths task this week we learnt about rotation, translation, reflection and enlargement with two types of Maori patterns. Here is my task:

Have you ever done this amount of work before?

Award Wining Article

Hi Bloggers welcome back to my blog, today I'll be giving you an insight to my writing task this week. This week was a two week task, the first week we had to plan an article piece that had something to do with our turangawaewae (a place we feel we belong) or something about our community. The second week we had to write it. I decided to do mine about Kapa Haka, here's my work:

My mad maths

Hi bloggers, welcome back to my blog! Today I'll telling you about my mad maths. For maths this week our learning intention was to use linear scales and whole numbers of metric units for length, I know it's a mouthful. I enjoyed this because it wasn't my usual maths because the main part of my maths was fractions, as many of you know fractions can be a little confusing but if you keep on trying you'll get the hang of it. My favourite part was defiantly adding up the fractions even though there confusing. Anyways here is what you have come for my mad maths:

What was your favourite question?

The essential guide to writing the perfect narrative writing text

Hi bloggers, welcome back to my blog! This week we have been continuing our narrative writing text we did last week. In a narrative text you should have adjectives, pronouns, nouns, onomatopoeia etc.  Also in a narrative you should have an orientation which is like a charter introduction, next is the problem, which is when something goes wrong in the story and last but not lest we have the solution. Here is an Example.

Have you ever made a narrative text before?
